Ubuntu hits HTC's Touch Pro 2, is any Windows Mobile handset safe?

If there's one thing we're pretty sure Windows Phone 7 Series will be worse at than its Windows Mobile precursor it's in the running of various and sundry other operating systems. We've seen Android running on seemingly every WinMo handset ever created and more recently Ubuntu has been receiving the mobile treatment. Last month it was on an Xperia X1, now an HTC Touch Pro2 is getting a taste. A modder who goes by the handle sebbo90 is the one responsible for this, running basically the same technique as used earlier on the X1. It looks quite easy: just download a 200MB zip, extract it to your phone, then run an exe within. A few moments later you'll be in open source heaven, and, from what we can tell looking at the video below, it works remarkably well. Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to hit up eBay to find a used handset and get hacking.

NewEgg sold 300 counterfeit Intel Core i7 920 CPUs

Do you do much computer building and upgrading? Then I hope you didn't buy a Core i7 920 processor from NewEgg this past week or so. A usual shopper of NewEgg bought a i7 920 processor and instead got an absolute fake package. Now this isn't even counterfeit if you ask me...it was more of a trick. You buy one thing and you get something totally different. Its basically the same as mailing a piece of paper you printed of the product you bought..man NewEgg is gonna get hit hard by this. :no:

TMO HTC HD2 leaked pictures, to release later this month..

T-Mobile will be releasing the HTC HD2 sometime later this month, most likely March 24th. The HTC HD2 is the first capacitive screen running Windows Mobile. Now HTC has tried their best to hide the insides of Windows with its TouchFlo and home screen, where you can tell the huge difference if you have used a WM phone before. The screen is 4.3" and is probably thinner than the iPhone 3GS. This elegant looking phone is also packing a snapdragon processor and looks amazing at doing everything at more than exceptional speed! Though many of you might want to wait this out till Windows Mobile 7 comes out...don't forget our previous post of Carrier pricings, which make T-Mobile a likely choice for tech junkies. Woman allegedly stabs ex after looking at phone..

Las Cruces police said a woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her ex-husband. Police said a 27-year-old woman was charged with three counts of aggravated battery against a household member and one count of battery. She was being held on $15,000 bond at the Dona Ana County Detention Center. The woman's ex-husband was taken to a hospital for treatment of his wounds after the Thursday night altercation.

According to police, Shaw and her 29-year-old ex-husband were at her home late Thursday when she became upset after looking through his cell phone's call history.

Detectives said Shaw pulled out a knife and started swinging at her ex-spouse, striking him at least three times. Authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The victim left the home and got a ride to the Las Cruces Police Department where he was interviewed by officers.

Dutch reporter has a little accident Live..

A female Dutch TV anchor had explosive diarrhea that caused her to poop her white pants on live television.

It’s an unconscious reaction to try to hide the stain with your hand as you run to the toilet. I hope she washed her hand.

This incident is going to leave a stain on her resume.
